
Apple TV+ has announced a March 27th premiere for the fifth season of its alternate history series “For All Mankind”.
In addition, the first footage from the new season has been released in a date announcement trailer that you can see below.
The fifth season picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions further into the solar system.
But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.
The cast includes Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt, alongside new series regulars Mirelle Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, Ines Asserson, Barrett Carnahan and Tyler Labine.
New episodes will air weekly through May 29th. Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi created the series produced for Apple TV by Sony Pictures Television.
