Paul Bettany was asked what his hope was for the next phase of the MCU and he didn’t mince his words:
“A massive pay check.”
He may get his wish, as he will be headlining his own show on Disney+ in this phase – Vision Quest.
He appeared at Los Angeles Comic Con this weekend to speak more about the upcoming show.
“It’s about intergenerational trauma… fathers and sons and denial of pain and denial of your own truth and coming to terms with who and what you are.”
It is described as the third part of a trilogy that started with WandaVision and then continued with Agatha All Along.
The series will co-star Emily Hampshire as a human version of AI E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as the human version of AI F.R.I.D.A.Y., Faran Tahir as Raza, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, and James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis.
Proving that Paramount don’t have a clue what they are doing, they let Terry Matalas go from the triumphant and crowd pleasing third season of Star Trek: Picard to another company. He will show run.
The show is expected to feature White Vision, which sounds a bit “far right”.
