007: Road to a Million
Brian Cox reveals that he signed on for the upcoming competition series “007: Road to a Million” thinking it was for a role in the next James Bond movie. He tells The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:

“I thought it was the new James Bond film. So I said, ‘Oh, finally they’re getting me in a James Bond movie.’ I said yes. There was no script, there was no James Bond… For years, I thought I’d love to be a James Bond villain. It would be really interesting. I thought, ‘This is my moment!’ But it wasn’t.”

He adds he ultimately had a lot of fun filming “007: Road to a Million” which premieres November 10th.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves
The Taylor Sheridan-produced series “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” for Paramount+ will get a special broadcast TV sampling with the first two episodes to air back-to-back on CBS this Sunday, November 12th.

It airs a week after the episodes hit the streamer last Sunday. The double-header will fill the spot left by “Big Brother”, but the remaining six episodes will stay exclusively on the Paramount+ service.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke
Masterpiece has released the first trailer for the fourth seaosn of “Miss Scarlet and The Duke” ahead of its premiere on January 7th on PBS.

Kate Phillips and Stuart Martin return as the eponymous crime solvers. Eliza has taken over the business of Nash & Sons which is undergoing a rough patch. Meanwhile her relationship with William (The Duke) builds towards a looming decision.

Bookie
Max has premiered the trailer for “Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre’s new eight-episode original comedy series “Bookie” which marks Charlie Sheen’s return to TV and premieres with two episodes on November 30th.

Created by Lorre and Nick Bakay, the dark comedy revolves around longtime L.A. bookie Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) and his roster of clients. Sheen plays one of the clients. Omar J. Dorsey, Vanessa Ferlito and Jorge Garcia co-star.

Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas
Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for the one-hour special “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas” starring the Emmy-winning “Ted Lasso” star. Hamish Hamilton directs the special which debuts globally on November 22nd.

Recorded live at The Coliseum in London, Waddingham rings in the season with musical performances of beloved Christmas classics along with holiday-themed anecdotes. Juno Temple, Phil Dunster, Sam Ryder, Luke Evans, Leslie Odom Jr., Phil Dunster, and more special guests appear.
