DC Studios is no longer moving forward with Sgt. Rock, the planned comic book adaptation from director Luca Guadagnino and writer Justin Kuritzkes. TheWrap reports the film has been scrapped at Warner Bros., despite having Oscar nominee Colin Farrell in talks to lead after Daniel Craig’s departure. Farrell would have played the iconic WWII hero, marking his second DC role following The Penguin.
