Robert Pattinson, who is about to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the DC Comics adaptation “The Batman Part II,” may be popping over next door to Marvel.
DanielRPK is reporting that the “Twilight,” “The Lighthouse” and “Tenet” star had a meeting with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to discuss possible roles for him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Naturally this has fueled a bunch of speculation in regards to what Marvel projects Pattinson might be involved in, especially as it’s so early it could be for various projects not in development yet let alone announced.
He would hardly be the first actor to cross the DC & Marvel line these days, his own “The Batman” co-star Jeffrey Wright for example also voices The Watcher on Marvel’s “What If?” anthology series.
Wright offered an update to The Playlist today on where things stand with the Matt Reeves-directed film and says: “Matt’s been off doing his thing and I’ve been off doing my thing and our things have not intersected again just yet, but they will in the months ahead. I’m excited to see what he’s come up with for the second iteration. I love his version of Gotham.”
Pattinson has three films on the way including Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi tale “Mickey 17,” Lynne Ramsey’s dark comedy “Die, My Love” and Kristoffer Borgli’s currently shooting “The Drama”.
