Dubbed an “announcement trailer”, Netflix has dropped a teaser for its new dark comedy series No Good Deed. Starring Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, this is from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman.
No Good Deed follows Lydia and Paul (Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano), empty nesters who list their historic home in one of L.A.’s most desirable neighborhoods as they prepare for a new life without their kids at home.
A frenzy ensues as multiple families race to buy the house, all convinced it will fix their various problems and unaware that the home of your dreams can become a nightmare.
Lydia and Paul struggle to hide the dark and dangerous secrets that linger inside their home, as they begin to realize that the only way they’ll escape the past is to finally face it.
The regular cast includes Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Teyonah Parris, and Luke Wilson. There will be guest stars including Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, Linda Lavin, and Anna Maria Horsford.
Feldman executive produces with Christie Smith, Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell also on the executive producer roster.
It is that time of year again, as summer fades (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) and television producers assume that, after a summer outdoors, we are all returning to our couches as the nights draw in. As a result, new content starts to flow at pace and we all look for something interesting on the viewing menu. Will No Good Deed make it onto the list?
No Good Deed premieres December 12th.
