Magnolia Pictures has premiered the trailer for its new time loop comedy “Omni Loop starring Emmy winners Ayo Edebiri and Mary-Louise Parker.
The story follows a jaded quantum physicist (Parker) who finds herself stuck in a time loop thanks to a black hole growing in her chest and only a week to live.
But when she meets a gifted student (Edeibiri), there’s a chance to save her life – and also potentially unlock the mysteries of time travel.
At the same time, the loops force the physicist to look back on her life and regrets and try and potentially resolve things left unsaid.
Hannah Pearl Utt, Chris Witaske, Carlos Jacott, Harris Yulin, Steven Maier, and Eddie Cahill co-star in the film directed by Bernando Britto who also penned the script.
Benjamin Cohen, Patrick Donovan, and David Hinojosa produce the film which premiered at South by Southwest in March of this year.
“Omni Loop” will release September 20th in theaters and on digital platforms.
