Two major comic adaptations have scored some minor date news today.
First up, both Nexus Point News and Daniel Richtman are reporting that the first trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World” could be out much sooner than expected – this week.
The outlets are indicating the first preview for the Marvel Studios film will be released online this Thursday – coming seven months ahead of the film’s release in February next year.
The film famously underwent some reshoots in May in which Giancarlo Esposito was added to the film.
Over on the DC side, ComicBookMovie is reporting that “The Batman” spin-off series “The Penguin” is getting a September 19th premiere date.
The outlet claims they found the date in a press release from Amazon here, but said press release currently now only says September without a specific date suggesting it has since been updated.
The Colin Farrell-led series serves as a ‘between films’ entry as it follows his character from the Matt Reeves-directed film as he tries to seize power in Gotham in the wake of Carmine Falcone’s death.
