In the “Well of course not” category, Wonder Woman 3 isn’t moving forward. According to Chris Pine, one of the actors in the original movies, he can’t understand why not.
We all know that James Gunn and Peter Safran have taken over DC Studios. They are having a big (ish) revamp of the roster of movies, which will no longer include Wonder Woman 3.
Pine, who was in Wonder Woman and WW1984, told Business Insider that he was “stunned” when he learnt a third movie had been axed. He said:
“I’m stunned that they said no to a billion-dollar franchise and decided to pivot elsewhere. I don’t know what the reasoning was behind that; it’s above my pay grade, but Wonder Woman is an incredible character; Patty is such a thoughtful director.”
It seems strange that an actor, that died in the first movie, “somehow” came back in the second one and, probably won’t even be involved with a third one, cares. He carried on:
“Me. No. Homie is dead. Steve is gonzo. It would be ridiculous to try to bring me back.”
Fiver says they would have tried though. It is interesting to see how he thought Patty Jenkins, the director of both the Wonder Woman movies, “is such a thoughtful director”. She was on the first one, but then she got “creative control” for WW1984, and it all went wrong.
Do you agree with Pine? Would Wonder Woman 3 be a good idea? If you think yes, please let us know, so we can send you a link to some helpful websites to deal with your condition.
