Amazon Prime Video has reportedly recast Ezra Miller’s voice role of D.A. Sinclair in the second season of its animated superhero series “Invincible” reports EW.
Miller starred in the series as a genius scientist who created an army of cyborgs known as ‘ReAnimen’ in the first season. The character was defeated in that run.
Sinclair appeared in this week’s second season episode during a nightmare sequence, but the role has been taken over by “X-Men ’97” and “Ninja Turtles” voice actor Eric Bauza.
Miller has been the subject of controversy in recent years, and the subject of multiple investigations and arrests. In an August 2022 statement/apology, Miller acknowledged their “complex mental health issues” and had begun “ongoing treatment”.
Miller’s absence will hardly be felt as the show’s stacked cast remains intact otherwise with the likes of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Mark Hamill, Sterling K. Brown, Clancy Brown, Tatiana Maslany, Ben Schwartz, Ross Marquand, Zachary Quinto and more still onboard.
The second season finale of the series airs on April 4th with a third season already in the works and expected to arrive much sooner than the two-and-a-half year gap between the first and second season launches.
