Disney has set a September 23rd premiere date for “Toy Story 5″ on its Disney+ subscription service – the title hitting around three months after its theatrical run. Also today, HBO Max has set a September 4th premiere date for the Aaron Taylor-Johnson-led and David Mackenzie-directed bomb disposal/heist film ” Fuze” on its service.
X-Men
Pat Scola (“Pig,” “Sing Sing,” “A Quiet Place: Day One”) has confirmed on his official site that he will be the cinematographer on Jake Schreier’s upcoming “X-Men” reboot at Marvel Studios, which stars the likes of Sadie Sink, Christopher Abbott, Kit Connor and Samara Weaving.
Marvel’s Wolverine
Insomniac Games has premiered a new trailer for its “Marvel’s Wolverine” game, one which offers a first look at several of the unlockable costumes players can don throughout the campaign including X-Force, Weapon X, Age of Apocalypse, “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “X-Men ’97” costumes. “Marvel’s Wolverine” is coming to the PS5 on September 15th.
In Waves
Following its screening at Cannes, a poster is out for “In Waves” – the coming-of-age animated tale from French-Belgian film director Phuong Mai Nguyen. The film hits cinemas on November 27th and then Netflix on December 11th.
