Apple TV is diving headfirst into the world of cyberpunk with Neuromancer, and the newly released teaser suggests the streaming giant may have one of its biggest sci-fi hits yet. Based on William Gibson’s groundbreaking, award-winning novel, the highly anticipated 10-episode series premieres on January 22, 2027, bringing one of the most influential science fiction stories ever written to the screen.

Callum Turner stars as Case, a gifted but damaged hacker pulled into a dangerous world of digital espionage, corporate conspiracies and high-stakes crime. Joining him is Briana Middleton as Molly, the razor-sharp assassin who becomes his partner on a mission to rob a powerful corporate dynasty hiding unimaginable secrets. The impressive cast also features Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Joseph Lee, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields and Isabella Pappas.

Created for television by Graham Roland and J.D. Dillard, the series promises sleek futuristic visuals, intense action and the philosophical themes that made Gibson’s novel a landmark of the cyberpunk genre.

The original Neuromancer won the Nebula, Hugo and Philip K. Dick awards while launching the legendary Sprawl trilogy. If the teaser is any indication, Apple TV may have found its next prestige sci-fi franchise, blending stylish action, cutting-edge technology and a gripping heist story into one of 2027’s most anticipated television events.
