Argylle & Drive-Away Dolls
Apple TV+ has set Friday April 12th as the premiere date for Matthew Vaughn’s “Argylle” on the streaming subscription service. Similarly Peacock has set the same date for debuting Ethan Coen’s “Drive Away Dolls” on its service. [Source: Apple]

Futuarama
Hulu has announced a July 29th premiere date for the next ten-episode run of its “Futurama” revival with episodes to be released on a weekly basis.

The new set marks the second half of the show’s eighth production season. A further ninth production season of twenty episodes was ordered late last year – suggesting the series will annually release ten episodes through to 2026. [Source: Hulu]

The Ax
Ahead of his “The Sympathizer” premiering on Max, South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook (“Decision To Leave”) is setting up an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s 1997 book “The Ax” as his next film.

The story takes place within the world of corporate downsizing and has actors Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin in the lead roles. Filming aims to take place this Fall. [Source: Nate]

Caligula
Drafthouse Films has acquired the 4K Ultra HD reconstruction Tinto Brass “Caligula,” dubbed ‘The Ultimate Cut’. This version had its world premiere at Cannes last year and includes never-before-seen footage and alternate takes and angles.

Drafthouse will release the film theatrically, unrated, across North America in August, followed by a streaming and 4K UHD Blu-ray release. [Source: Deadline]
