There is a very particular subreddit simply called ‘hmmm,’ which on its own could mean almost anything. The point of said subreddit is to catalog images that, on a glance, makes the viewer go ‘hmmm’ with a confusing, numb, or concerned tone.
These pictures make us wonder what was really going on in the image, and oftentimes it can be relegated to a confusing perspective. Those explanations are all well and good, but they don’t suffice for every instance. A lot of other pictures, like many of the ones included here, will require further thought.
