Marvel Studios has dropped the long-awaited trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and fans have responded in spectacular fashion. The first look at the blockbuster has amassed an astonishing 503 million views in its first 24 hours, making it Disney’s biggest trailer launch ever and the second-largest movie trailer debut in history. The only film to generate more excitement over the same period is Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which reached 719 million views.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the filmmakers behind Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Avengers: Doomsday promises a massive crossover event unlike anything the Marvel Cinematic Universe has attempted before. The story brings together beloved heroes from three different universes, forcing them onto a catastrophic collision course as they confront an existential threat capable of destroying everything they know.

The trailer wastes no time showcasing the epic scale of the adventure, teasing breathtaking action, emotional reunions, and the kind of universe-spanning spectacle that has become the Russo brothers’ trademark. While Marvel continues to keep many plot details under wraps, the footage hints that the stakes may surpass even those of Endgame.

Marvel has also announced that tickets are now on sale, including screenings in the new Infinity Vision premium large-format experience. The certification promises brighter projection, enhanced sound, and giant screens designed to deliver the film at its most immersive.

With record-breaking trailer numbers, enormous fan anticipation, and the Russo brothers back behind the camera, Avengers: Doomsday is already shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events of 2026. The superhero epic arrives exclusively in theaters on December 18, and if the trailer’s explosive reception is any indication, Marvel may have another global phenomenon on its hands.
