The Odyssey Official Countdown Trailer

The epic is almost upon us as Universal Pictures releases the new trailer for their upcoming blockbuster adventure The Odyssey. View trailer below.

The Odyssey follows Odysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, on his long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War, chronicling his encounters with mythical beings such as the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and the nymph Calypso, while attempting to reunite with his wife, Penelope.

Oh wow….I wasn’t expecting a new trailer from this film, but I’m glad for this new preview. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage and totally gets you hyped for this much anticipated epic blockbuster. We finally get a few scenes and dialogue lines with Zendaya’s Athena, which is pretty cool as well as a few more scenes with Penelope and Telemachus. Personally, I’m stoked to see this movie, and I’m so excited to see Nolan’s vision from Homer’s beloved epic.

The Odyssey  arrives in theaters on July 16th, 2026
