
Pluribus
Gordon Smith, one of the writers and directors of Vince Gilligan’s “Pluribus” series for Apple TV, has confirmed in a recent interview with Variety that he and the creatives were in the middle of developing the second season:
“[It] isn’t very fast, but it is the best we can do. We are writing, we’re about midway through Season 2, breaking it. We’re doing the best we can and we’re hoping to get back to work shooting sometime hopefully by the end of this year or early next year.”
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder
Netflix has officially announced a third and final season of “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”. The four-episode final run has already wrapped production ahead of its 2027 airdate.
Emma Myers stars as amateur sleuth Pip and adapts Holly Jackson’s bestselling trilogy. Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Jude Morgan-Collie, Eden H Davies and Yali Topol Margalith co-star. [Source: Variety]
Human Vapor
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for “Human Vapor,” a Japanese/South Korean series remake of the 1960 Toho supernatural thriller. Yeon Sang-ho (“Train To Busan”) and Ryu Yong-jae (“Peninsula”) co-write the series which debuts July 2nd.
The story begins with an on-air murder with the killer being ‘Human Vapor’ – a man who can transform his body into gas and slip through any barrier. He announces his killings in advance and carries them out with authorities unable to stop him
Furious
New photos have been released from Hulu’s new thriller “Furious” which will premiere on the streamer on July 27th with three episodes of its eight-episode run – the finale arriving August 31st. Scoot McNairy, Lola Petticrew, and Jake Lacy co-star.
Emmy Rossum stars as FBI agent Alice Black, who finds herself hunting a brilliant female serial killer. Both women are driven by their own sense of justice, and as their paths keep crossing, the line between hero and villain starts getting blurry.
