Teaser: Nicolas Winding Refn’s “Her Private Hell”

Hot on the heels of premiering the “Hope” teaser trailer yesterday, distributor NEON has now done the same for “Drive” and “Only God Forgives” director Nicolas Winding Refn’s new thriller “Her Private Hell”.

When a mysterious mist engulfs a futuristic metropolis, unleashing a deadly and elusive entity – a heinous killer known as Leather Man is going around the city taking the lives of women.

A troubled young woman searches for her father, and her quest collides with an American GI on a harrowing odyssey to rescue his daughter from Hell.

Sophie Thatcher and Charles Melton lead a cast that also includes Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, Dougray Scott, Diego Calva, Shioli Kutsuna, Aoi Yamada, Hidetoshi Nishijima, and Parker Sawyers.

Clocking in at 109 minutes, this marks Refn’s first feature film in a decade, with the Tokyo-shot film to be a mix of English and Japanese languages. Some filming also took place in Copenhagen.

Neon has set a July 24th theatrical release for the film which premiered at Cannes today.
