Disney used its upfront presentation tonight to announce a couple of key release date windows.

Arguably, the biggest news is that the second season of the “Star Wars” series “Ahsoka” won’t be returning this year after all. Instead, it has been pushed to an early 2027 debut.

Series star Rosario Dawson was on hand to introduce a behind-the-scenes reel showcasing some of the making of season two.

The delay means the second season will arrive around three-and-a-half years after the first season did back in August 2023, and three years after the second season went into development.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s long-awaited “WandaVision” follow-up “VisionQuest” has locked an October 14th 2026 release.

The series, which stars Paul Bettany as the android and former Avenger, arrives after nearly four years in development.

It’s also being dubbed the ‘final installment’ in the trilogy following 2022’s “WandaVision” and 2024’s “Agatha All Along”. Terry Matalas (“Star Trek: Picard”) serves as showrunner.
