We get a lot of indie trailers through, and we’ve been doing our best to share everything with you. Sometimes, they look really interesting, and sometimes, not so much. You can make your own mind up on Voidance.
I’m always aware that the makers of the movie might read this, so I’m going to try to be positive about it. Let’s see, at least they found good use for the sets from Red Dwarf.
Voidance stars Zoe Cunningham, James Cosmo, Eloise Lovell Anderson, Chrissie Wunna, Neil Bishop, Mim Shaikh, Billy Price, and Anna Fraser. Marianna Dean directs, with Simon X. Frederick penning the script.
From the press release. In order to become an ATIC agent, Alana Toro faces her final assessment. Inside a simulated space station bar, she must prevent a terrorist attack before it happens. Each failed attempt allows her to restart the scenario, but with limited chances to get it right.
As Alana navigates a cast of guarded and unpredictable patrons, gaining trust proves as difficult as identifying the threat itself. With each attempt, new details emerge, and assumptions shift, forcing her to rethink who she can rely on. As the pressure builds, Alana is pushed towards an unorthodox solution, one that may challenge everything ATIC expects of her.
Voidance will have its premiere in May. I kind of want to watch it, but for all the wrong reasons.
