Following his sharing the screen with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds has indicated that future films involving Deadpool will be similar team-ups.

Shawn Levy’s “Deadpool & Wolverine” earned a massive $1.338 billion at the global box office, which makes a fourth “Deadpool” film a highly likely prospect at some point.

During an interview this weekend on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, Reynolds indicated he’s pretty much done with doing the character again as a solo movie:

“I have some stuff kind of written, but I don’t think I’m going to center him again. I think he’s a supporting character, you know? He’s a guy who is great in a group.”

Just who that group might be could be one of several possibilities. Rumours have been picking up in recent weeks that Marvel is considering slotting a new “Deadpool” film in between “Avengers: Secret Wars” and the new “X-Men” film.

Speculation has also swirled about the possibility of Reynolds appearing in “Avengers: Doomsday,” speculation the actor has downplayed.
