
Production has officially gotten underway on James Gunn’s “Man of Tomorrow,” and a set photo from the “Superman” follow-up has been released.
The photo, from Gunn’s social media account, shows a red-and-black chessboard. There is a ‘VanKull Department of Corrections’ ID tag for Lex Luthor (born Alexander Luthor) and a bag of Ruffles chips.
Fans have also glimpsed a potential new logo in the back with the Superman shield in the middle of three circles connected in a way that resembles Braniac’s ‘symbol’.
David Corenswet returns as Superman alongside Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac and various “Superman” returnees, including Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner) and Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific) among others.
Also onboard is Aaron Pierre as John Stewart and Adria Arjona in a m yster role that may be Maxima or Wonder Woman.
