Netflix has released the full-length trailer for the new TV series adaptation of A.J. Quinnell’s book series “Man of Fire” ahead of its premiere on April 30th.

“Wonder Man” and “Aquaman” star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II leads the cast of the eight-episode series, with this season adapting the first two books of the five-book series.

Kyle Killen (“Halo,” “Fear Street”) serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner. The first book inspired Tony Scott’s 2004 film starring Denzel Washington.

Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption. But, before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever

New Regency Productions and Chernin Entertainment are producing with Abdul-Mateen II, Steven Caple Jr., Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Bill McGoldrick, Juan Alfonso, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer executive producing.
