The MCU has some new required reading! A rumor reveals which Marvel Comics will be used as the basis for Avengers: Doomsday‘s main storyline. The MCU has a pattern. Either a project will be literally and visibly based off one specific run of a comic (see: Hawkeye, Infinity War) or be completely disconnected from any of its comic book roots (see: Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3).
