Monday’s used to be a slog, a horrible reality after a glorious weekend. Not anymore, though, thank you to the Last Movie Outpost, you can look forward to funny memes. Not just memes, but movie memes; we’re so good to you all.
Before we head to the movie memes, did you watch anything good over the weekend? Anything you need to moan about?
I saw the new documentary about John Candy, I Like Me. It’s not really worth a full review, because it’s nothing outstanding. It is a wonderful documentary about the life of Candy, though. He genuinely seemed like a nice guy and would always be there for anyone. Sadly, this would be his undoing. He put so much pressure on himself, it ended up costing him his life.
To get over the Monday Blues, I then cheered myself up with some Candy movies. I watched Splash! and Brewster’s Millions. I haven’t seen them in many years and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Daryl Hannah helped with Splash!
I also sat down with Mrs Boba Phil and watched The Woman in Cabin 10. I’ve never been a big one for murder mysteries, but this was pretty good. It’s a good one to sit down with the misses and relax to.
Anyway, one with Monday’s Movie Memes. Here you go, another 15 this week, because we still love you the same. The Elmo one is so, so wrong, but funny.
