“Ben 10” cartoon creator Duncan Rouleau says he’d love to make an adult animated version of the series. He tells CartoonBase: “It would be great to have a high stakes show with more mature themes. Not so interested in gore or sexual content, but dealing with emotional, social & political elements.”
Swan Song
Monarch Media, Greg Nicotero and Monster Agency Productions are teaming for an action/genre series based on Robert McCammon’s 1987 post-apocalyptic horror novel “Swan Song”. Nicotero will direct with a writer being sought.
In the wasteland of what’s left of the U.S. after a nuclear showdown with an unprecedented malevolent enemy, the remaining citizens must fight to stay alive against monstrous creatures and marauding armies. [Source: Deadline]
Feud: Capote vs. The Swans
FX has released a new trailer for Ryan Murphy’s anthology drama “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” which premieres January 31st on FX and Hulu.
The clip sees Tom Hollander’s Truman Capote as he befriends 1970s New York City’s most influential women in an attempt to elevate his career. Naomi Watts, Demi Moore, Calista Flockhart, Diane Lane, Molly Ringwald, Chloe Sevigny, Treat Williams and Russell Tovey co-star.
Masters of the Air
Apple TV+ has premiered a featurette for its historical drama mini-series “Masters of the Air” which chronicles the struggles of a group of Air Force soldiers during World War II conducting bombing raids over Nazi Germany. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg executive produce the series which will start streaming January 26th.
The Lincoln Lawyer
Production has officially begun on the third season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer” with the first photos from the set online. Stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell can be seen in the shots.
Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez have revealed the third season will begin with a flashback before serving as an adaptation of Michael Connelly’s “The Gods of Guilt”. [Source: Deadline]
