Paramount+ has announced a Friday January 24th 2025 premiere date for its upcoming “Star Trek: Section 31” movie starring Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh.
Yeoh reprises her “Star Trek: Discovery” role as former Terran Emperor Philippa Georgiou and made a video appearancce during the Star Trek universe panel at New York Comic Con.
Fellow cast members Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl and Robert Kazinsky along with executive producer and director Olatunde Osunsanmi were on hand at the event.
Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Humberly Gonzalez and James Hiroyuki Liao also star and the title will launch in the U.S. and international markets where the service is available on that day
The film sees Georgiou joining the Federations secret Section 31, Starfleet’s black ops division. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets by any means necessary, she also must face the sins of her past.
