New set photos have emerged showing filming on the fourth season of Netflix’s “The Witcher” which commenced production back in April.
The shots showcase good looks at Liam Hemsworth in costume as Geralt of Rivia along with Laurence Fishburne‘s Regis and a first look at Danny Woodburn as fan-favorite Zoltan Chivay. Meng’er Zhang‘s Milva and Eamon Farren‘s Cahir were also captured in the shots.
The Welsh shooting has been heavily around Padarn Lake for scenes from the books in which Geralt and friends commandeer a boat and sail on a river into an armed conflict between Northern forces and Nilfgaard ahead of the Battle of the Bridge.
The project was also seen shooting scenes around Bourne Woods, Surrey in the UK. Freya Allan has also reportedly filmed a torture scene, expected to be after she is captured by the ruthless bounty hunter Leo Bonhart (Sharlto Copley).
Shooting has taken place over the last few weeks in North Wales and the fourth season only has around 2-3 weeks of filming left before going on a brief break and returning to film the fifth and final season starting March 2025.
In terms of airing, it’s expected the fourth season of the series will debut sometime in the back half of 2025 on the streamer.
