Searchlight Pictures has released the official trailer for its Sundance Film Festival sensation “A Real Pain” which is finally coming to cinemas later this Fall.
The story follows mismatched cousins, David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin), who reunite for a tour through Poland to honour their beloved grandmother.
The adventure takes a turn when the odd couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy and Daniel Oreskes co-star.
Eisenberg both wrote and directed the film while Emma Stone serves as a producer. Shot last Summer, the film marks Eisenberg’s second directorial effort following 2022’s “When You Finish Saving the World”.
His script won the best screenplay award at Sundance, and reviews for the film are strong with an 84/100 on Metacritic and 91% (8/10) on Rotten Tomatoes.
“A Real Pain” will open in cinemas exclusively from November 1st.
