A24 has unleashed a second trailer for its new horror feature “Heretic” which sees Hugh Grant tackle his first horror film in many years.
The beloved British actor plays a man who is visited by two young Mormon missionaries played by Chloe East (“The Fabelmans”) and Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) whom he puts through a series of intense psychological games.
The project hails from Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the duo who penned John Krasinski’s hit film “A Quiet Place” along with 2019’s “Haunt,” the Adam Driver prehistoric film “65” and the Stephen King adaptation “The Boogeyman”.
Shot in Vancouver last fall under a guild-approved interim agreement, the film also stars Elle McKinnon, River Codack, Carolyn Adair, Stephanie Lavigne and Elle Young.
Beck, Woods, Katie Aquino, Scott Beck, Liliane Bedford, Julia Glausi, Kai Raka, Stacey Sher and Jeanette Volturno all produce.
