Jacob Rodriguez (“Tell Me Lies”) has landed the male lead in the live-action family film “Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado” for Paramount+ and Nickelodeon Studios.
Samantha Lorraine takes on the title role with Rodriguez playing her adventurous and resourceful cousin Diego. The pair trek the Amazonian jungle in search of a powerful treasure. [Source: Deadline]
The 500
Amazon MGM Studios is reportedly developing a TV series adaptation of “The Night Agent” author Matthew Quirk’s debut thriller novel “The 500”. The project follows a former con artist turned lobbyist in a Washington consulting firm.
Andrew Sodroski (“Manhunt”) will be the project’s showrunner, show writer and executive producer. David Weil and Natalie Williams also executive produce. [Source: Coming Soon]
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F
Netflix has released a new promo video for its upcoming “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” film, this one showing “Steel” and “Kazam” actor and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal doing an audition for a role in the film. The Eddie Murphy-led movie is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 3rd.
