By There’s been some brief clips showcasing gameplay footage, but now Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have announced a Tuesday April 9th launch of the story trailer for the anticipated “Star Wars Outlaws” video game from Ubisoft Massive.
Additionally some new poster art for the title has been released and can be seen below.
The open-world game unfolds between the events of “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” and follows the story of Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel in the galactic underworld.
Kay is accompanied by her alien companion Nyx and a trench coat-wearing BX-commando droid named ND-5 constructed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars.
Together will attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen in an effort to start a new life.
All planets and locations are being ‘handcrafted’ here, no procedurally generated planets, and will include iconic locations that fans know. Others are new locations like Toshara which is dubbed a “scoundrel fantasy” world.
“Star Wars Outlaws” will release this Fall for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
