CBS has renewed the comedy “Ghosts” for a fourth season and its drama “Fire Country” for a third season. Both shows launched their current seasons in mid-February due to the impact of last year’s dual writers and actors strikes.

“Ghosts” is currently averaging 10.2 million viewers per episode in Live+7 multiplatform viewing, “Fire Country” is at 9.2 million. The shows will join the recently renewed “Tracker,” a “Young Sheldon” spin-off and an “NCIS” prequel series for next season. [Source: Variety]

Studio Ghibli
Warner Bros. Discovery has announced a multi-year agreement with GKIDS, which extends Max’s streaming rights to the Studio Ghibli catalog of films from “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” back in 1984 all the way through today.

This includes Hayao Miyazaki’s recent Oscar-winner “The Boy and the Heron” which will make its streaming debut on the Max streaming service later this year. [Source: Max]

Under the Bridge
Hulu has premiered the trailer for its latest true-crime drama limited series “Under the Bridge” starring Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone. The series premieres on April 17th.

Based on Rebecca Godfrey’s bestselling novel, the story unfolds in 1997 as fourteen-year-old Reena Virk went to join friends at a party and never returned home.

Through the eyes of Godfrey and a local police officer, the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder – revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.

Ronja the Robber’s Daughter
Netflix has released the trailer for “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter,” the six-episode live-action series adaptation of Astrid Lindgren’s classic children’s fantasy novel. The first thee episodes air on March 28th with the remainder to screen later this year.

The story follows the adventures of a spirited and rebellious girl born into a gang of robbers in a medieval Scandinavian castle. As Ronja grows up, she discovers the magical, but dangerous forest with its strange and mysterious creatures.

Becoming Karl Lagerfeld
Disney+ and Hulu have premiered the teaser for the upcoming six-episode French biographical drama series “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” starring Daniel Brühl as the late legendary fashion designer. The series debuts on June 7th.

The story unfolds in 1972 when Lagerfeld is 38, a ready-to-wear designer unknown to the general public who dares to take on his friend (and rival) Yves Saint Laurent.
