A24 & IMAX
Indie label A24 is partnering with IMAX to re-release some of its most beloved films on IMAX screens with a monthly screening series that will run into 2025.

It begins with Alex Garland’s “Ex Machina” on March 27th, followed by Ari Aster’s “Hereditary” on April 24th and the Safdies’ “Uncut Gems” on May 22nd. Other titles haven’t been announced yet. [Source: Indiewire]

The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar
Netflix will release all four of Wes Anderson’s Roald Dahl shorts as one anthology feature on March 15th. The single work will include Dahl’s stories “The Swan,” “The Rat Catcher,” “Poison” and Oscar winner “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar”. [Source: Netflix

The Zone of Interest
Warner Bros. Discovery has set an April 5th premiere date on its Max streaming service for Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Interest” which won Best International Feature and Best Sound at the Oscars.

The film follows the commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig at they strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp. [Source: Max]

Mercy
Timur Bekmambetov’s sci-fi thriller “Mercy,” which is set to star Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, has locked down an August 15th 2025 theatrical release.

Pratt stars as a detective in the near future accused of a violent crime who fights to prove his innocence in a society where capital crime is on the rise. Filming begins this Spring. [Source: THR]

Alex Rider
Amazon Freevee has released the trailer for the third and final season of its young British spy series “Alex Rider” based on Anthony Horowitz’s books. The new season will focus on Scorpia, and the story will lead Alex (Otto Farrant) and viewers to question everything they’ve learned so far. The final season premieres April 5th.
