Taylor Sheridan’s journey into the psyche of Americana continues with a new series called Landman, and Demi Moore is set to join the cast.

The new Paramount+ series has just started production around Fort Worth.

The show tells the story of the modern-day boomtowns of West Texas, and those seeking fortune in the world of onshore oil.

So Dallas with swearing and violence?

It is based on a on an eleven-part podcast Boomtown, and tells the story from the point of view of the roughnecks in the field all the way up to the billionaires in the boardrooms.

Moore character is a series regular and the wife of one of the most powerful oil barons in all of Texas.

Billy Bob Thornton leads, with Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Paulina Chávez co-starring.

Moore had a fun role in Outpost favorite Margin Call, and can now be seen in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
