With filming back underway on the third “Deadpool” movie, more location shooting is underway and set photos continue to pour out of the production which has been using large practical sets outdoors.

POTENTIAL “DEADPOOL 3” MINOR SPOILER AHEAD

The Shawn Levy-directed project was one of the more high-profile titles to suspend filming due to the actor’s strike. It was halfway through its shoot when it hit pause, then began again in late November.

We know the film will see Deadpool crossing a multiverse, which is how Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine comes into things, and we already know several variations of Deadpool himself will likely appear – notably Dogpool whom star Ryan Reynolds himself revealed on social media.

Now the new photos spreading across social media have revealed one of those new variations – a scene in which the Deadpool we know, Dogpool and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) encounter samurai-esque version of the Deadpool character.

Reynolds himself can be seen playing this version of Wade Wilson who is wearing a brighter variation of the Deadpool suit, sans mask. This Wade has no facial burns, instead sporting long hair with a top knot.

The inclusion is likely a nod to “Deadpool: Samurai,” the most popular manga of 2021 which sees Deadpool moving to Tokyo and encountering “every kind of shonen trope you can think of”.

Going by the timetables, the film is expected to wrap early February and be ready in time to make a July 26th release this year.

The film will also star Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, and Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen in currently-unknown roles.
