Actress Kathryn Hahn says that additional filming on Marvel Studios’ “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” is still ongoing.
Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Emma Caulfield Ford, Debra Jo Rupp, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone co-star in the “WandaVision” spin-off series which centers on Hahn’s Agatha Harkness charscter from that show.
The main filming on the series took place last year, running from mid-January to late May – managing to finish several weeks before the actor’s strike began.
Marvel Studios always sets aside time for additional filming on its projects and now it appears it has done just that with Hahn telling THR that the pick-up shooting has been underway and is in its final stages:
“We just have a few more days to pick up, yeah, We’ve got most of it done. It’s very exciting. Marvel fans and just anyone who loves a witch [laughs]… I can’t wait for people to see it. Who wouldn’t want to play a witch? That’s all I played as a kid, every Halloween.”
The series is said to boast several musical numbers from “Agatha All Along” songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. It hails from head writer and director Jac Schaeffer, who is also serving as an executive producer along with Kevin Feige.
