Marvel Studios has released a new video for the upcoming limited drama series “Echo” which is set to debut in full on the service on January 9th 2024.
What’s distinct about this video is that it reminds viewers to adjust their Disney+ profile’s settings to allow for TV-MA series to be playable in order to be able to stream the show.
The series marks the first TV-MA rated series from Marvel Studios, boasting a tone that’s akin to the Marvel-Netflix series like “Daredevil”. It’s also the first work from the studio to fall under their new ‘Marvel Spotlight’ banner, and the first Marvel Studios series released as a binge watch.
The five-episode streaming event series spotlights deaf Native American hero Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) who has the talent to imitate any opponent’s fighting style.
She is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. When the journey brings her to her hometown in Oklahoma, she must confront her own family and legacy.
Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, Charlie Cox, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon also star in the five-episode project which will be available on both Disney+ and Hulu on January 10th.
