Filmmaker Luc Besson’s dark thriller “Dogman,” starring Caleb Landry Jones, will arrive in U.S. cinemas with a platform release starting March 15th via Briarcliff Entertainment. NEON has acquired North American rights to Michael Mohan’s religious horror film “Immaculate” starring Sydney Sweeney (“Euphoria,” “The White Lotus”). No release date has been set as yet

Sweeney plays a woman of devout faith who is offered a new role at an illustrious Italian convent. But her warm welcome to the European countryside is soon interrupted as she discovers her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets. Emmanuelle
Oscar nominee Naomi Watts has joined the cast of Audrey Diwan’s highly anticipated reimagining of iconic 1970s erotic drama “Emmanuelle”. Noemie Merlant (“Portrait of a Lady on Fire,” “Tar”) plays the lead role.

The story centers on a woman and the series of fantasies that she entertains. Sylvia Kristel starred in the 1974 original which spawned a franchise. Will Sharpe, Jamie Campbell Bower, Chacha Huang and Anthony Wong co-star. [Source: Deadline]

Dario Argento: Panico
Shudder has announced it has acquired Simone Scafdi’s “Dario Argento Panico,” a retrospective documentary and portrait of the Italian Giallo filmmaking icon behind such legendary films as “Suspiria,” “Deep Red,” “The Bird with the Crystal Plummage” and “Tenebrae”.

The documentary will feature exclusive interviews with Argento himself and other acclaimed directors including Guillermo del Toro, Gaspar Noé, and Nicolas Winding Refn. Shudder will release it on the service in North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand on February 2nd. [Source: Shudder]

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Sony Pictures has released a new poster for the upcoming “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” feature which is set to open in cinemas on March 29th.

The new poster sees the Ghostbusters answering the call to defend New York from an army of spirits determined to usher in a new Ice Age.
