Doctor Who
The BBC has unveiled two new photos from the upcoming post-specials new run of “Doctor Who” with new looks at Ncuti Gatwa’s new Fifteenth Doctor along with Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Gatwa is expected to make a post-regeneration appearance in the third 60th anniversary special on December 9th. [Source: Twitter]

Alien
David Rysdahl (“Fargo”) has joined Noah Hawley’s the upcoming “Alien” prequel series at FX, but details for his character are under wraps. The series is set around the same time period as “Prometheus,” roughly 70 years from now and three decades or so before the events of “Alien”.

Rysdahl joins a cast that includes Timothy Olyphant, Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav and Kit Young. Filming on the project is expected to resume in Bangkok as soon as January. [Source: Deadline]

The Bear
The third season of FX/Hulu’s “The Bear” will commence production in late February-early March with Jeremy Allen White returning as Carmy who, at last look, was stuck in a walk-in fridge at the end of the second season. [Source: Deadline]

Power Book III: Raising Kanan
Starz has handed out an early fourth season renewal for “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” ahead of the show’s third season premiere due to air on December 1st. Production on the next season is already underway in New York.

MeKai Curtis stars as Kanan Stark in this series which takes place in the 1990s and follows his entry into the criminal world through his mother, who ruthlessly runs the family’s drug empire. Sascha Penn serves showrunner and executive producer. [Source: Variety]

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
The release of the official full trailer for the Disney+ series adaptation of “Percy Jackson and The Olympians” pulled in 84.3 million video views within ten days. The news comes three weeks before the series launches on December 20th with a double episode. [Source: Disney Plus Informer]

The Crown
Netflix has released new photos from the final six episodes of its Emmy-winning historical drama “The Crown”. Ed McVey and Luther Ford take over the Prince William and Prince Harry roles respectively with the episodes to premiere on December 14th.

This back half of the sixth season shows a grown-up Prince William and Prince Harry following the death of their mother Princess Diana, and introduces Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton.
