Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the teaser trailer for “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths” – a three-part animated film adapting the comic book mega-crossover from the 1980s.
Oblivion is coming not just for our Earth, but for everyone, everywhere, in every universe. Against this ultimate destruction, the mysterious Monitor has gathered the greatest team of Super Heroes ever assembled.
But what can the combined might of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern and hundreds of Super Heroes from multiple Earths do to save all of reality from an unstoppable antimatter armageddon?!
The original 1985 comics merged the multiple Earths of the comics multiverse into one single, coherent timeline – shifting the origins and nature of some characters, removing others from the board entirely.
This one takes place in the Tomorrowverse shared universe which began in 2020 with “Superman: Man of Tomorrow”. The most recent release was “Justice League: Warworld” which premiered back in July.
Judging by the trailer, it appears as if all three parts of “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths” films will be released across 2024.
