Prime Video has released the official trailer for its upcoming DC holiday animated movie “Merry Little Batman” which premieres on the service on December 8th.
In the animated family action comedy, young Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve after Bruce has to leave Damian to help out with a special Justice League mission.
The Joker uses the opportunity to steal Christmas from Gotham City and Damian soon must transform into ‘Little Batman’ in order to defend his home and town from the crooks and supervillains intent on destroying the holidays.
The special features the voices of Yonas Kibreab as Damian Wayne, Luke Wilson as Bruce Wayne, James Cromwell as Alfred Pennyworth, and David Hornsby as The Joker.
The film is being directed by Mike Roth from a screenplay co-written by Morgan Evans (“Teen Titans Go!”) and Jase Ricci (“Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham”).
The special was announced two years ago alongside “Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story” and an untitled Looney Tunes Cartoons film.
