It’s “Stranger Things” Day celebrations at Netflix and the cast is unable to do any promotion due to the ongoing SAG-AFTA strike. So, the publicity work has been left to the writers, producers and others to take up the slack.

Along with the previously included first footage from behind-the-scenes of “The First Shadow” stage play, the opening script lines for the first episode of the final season have been revealed.

Said lines from the episode titled “The Crawl” read as follows: “DARKNESS. The sound of COLD WIND. GROANING TREES. And… A CHILD’S VOICE. Singing a familiar song.”

What that song is, we’ll have to wait and find out. The final season is expected to include eight episodes, which includes a massive feature-length finale.

Creators Matt and Ross Duffer are continuing pre-production on the series which was originally slated to start filming June this year until the double strikes delayed it. Filming is now expected to take place throughout much of 2024.

Meanwhile “Stranger Things” will make its way back into “Dead by Daylight” according to Behaviour Interactive, two years after the series DLC was removed from the game.

It includes the return of the Demogorgon as a Killer, Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington into the game as survivors, and the Underground Complex map.
