Disney Branded Television and The BBC have announced the premiere date for Ncuti Gatwa’s highly-anticipated first full season of “Doctor Who”.
The new run, the fourteenth season overall since the reboot in 2005, will be released simultaneously worldwide for the first time ever.
The series will debut on Friday May 10th at 7pm US-ET on Disney+ in the U.S. and at 12am on Saturday May 11th on BBC iPlayer in the UK. Episodes will air later that day on BBC One.
The new series follows the Doctor (Gatwa) and Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) through infinite adventures across time and space in the TARDIS.
From the Regency era in England to war-torn futures, the duo champion the forces of good while encountering incredible friends and dangerous foes.
The new season hails from showrunner Russell T. Davies, who is executive producing alongside Phil Collinson, Joel Collins, Julie Gardner, and Jane Tranter.
Jonathan Groff, Indira Varma, Aneurin Barnard, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Jinkx Monsoon, Lenny Rush, Yasmin Finney and Bonnie Langford guest star.
