Microsoft has confirmed the four Xbox titles that will be going to other platforms, and in the process has unveiled the release dates and platforms for those titles.
Two titles will be coming to Nintendo Switch along with Playstation 4 & Playstation 5 – the single-player “Pentiment” on February 22nd, and the multiplayer “Grounded” on April 16th.
The two other titles are only coming to Playstation 5 – “Hi-Fi Rush” which will be available from March 19th (pre-purchase available today), and “Sea of Thieves” from April 30th (wishlist available tomorrow).
Crossplay on “Grounded” will be supported across Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, crossplay on “Sea of Thieves” will be supported across Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
In addition, physical editions of “Pentiment” and “Hi-Fi Rush” will be released for all their respective console platforms.
The titles are expected to be potentially testing the waters for further Xbox title releases across other platforms, even as Microsoft has indicated no other titles are planning to do so at this time.
