By Amazon Prime Video has released a new trailer teasing the second half of the second season of its animated superhero series which returns on March 14th.
Based on an Image Comics book, the series follows Yeun’s Mark Grayson – a teenager whose father is the world’s most powerful superhero. On his 17th birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and realizes he needs help to contain his powers, while also reckoning with his Dad’s less-than-perfect legacy.
J.K. Simmons voices his father Omni-Man whilst the voice cast includes Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walter Goggins, Sterling K. Brown, Peter Cullen, Rob Delaney, Calista Flockhart, Zachary Quinto, Mahershala Ali, Melise, Jason Mantzoukas, Rhea Seehorn, Lea Thompson, Ben Schwartz and more lend their voices to the series.
The series was so well received that even before the first season finished airing, it was renewed for two more seasons. After a very long delay, the second season’s first part finally arrived late last year.
The new trailer shows Mark on the planet Thraxa, Omni-Man’s dire situation, and Angstrom Levy continuing their crusade. Robert Kirkman, Simon Racioppa, David Alpert, and Catherine Winder executive produce.
