Blumhouse and Lionsgate have premiered a third trailer for their next horror feature “Imaginary”.
When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement.
Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.
Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Veronica Falcon and Betty Buckley co-star in the film directed by Jeff Wadlow and penned by Wadlow, Greg Erb, and Jason Oremland.
Jason Blum and Jeff Wadlow are producing the film which was budgeted at $13 million. This third trailer follows in the wake of the specially designed teaser that launched to much fanfare back in October alongside the cinema release of “Five Nights at Freddy’s”.
A more regular trailer was released the other month. “Imaginary” hits cinemas on March 8th.
