Amazon MGM Studios has premiered the official trailer for “Bullet Train” and “Deadpool 2” director David Leitch’s new film “How to Rob a Bank”.
The story follows a crew of social media-savvy bank robbers broadcasts their daring heists, unaware that their growing viral fame has put them in the crosshairs of a veteran FBI agent (John C. Reilly) and a brilliant software engineer (Zoë Kravitz).
Despite the unlikely duo closing in, the crime ring pushes past their limits, putting everything on the line for their beliefs — and their most ambitious heist yet.
Nicholas Hoult, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz and Pete Davidson play the thieves, while Christian Slater plays the manager of the bank which becomes a major target of the crooks.
Judging from the trailer, the film is serving as not just a heist action thriller but a social satire of the current state of global economics.
“How to Rob a Bank” is set to open in cinemas on September 4th.
