The full trailer for the upcoming Russell Crowe-led psychological thriller Sleeping Dogs has just dropped. In the movie, Crowe plays Roy Freeman. He is a former homicide investigator who is undergoing cutting-edge Alzheimer’s treatment to fight off his advancing dementia.
His former life collides with his current situation when a death row inmate whom Freeman arrested ten years prior for a brutal murder starts to proclaim his innocence. Freeman enlists his former partner to help him revive the case and discover the truth – tearing through a tangled web of secrets and forcing Freeman to make some horrific discoveries.
Karen Gillan, Márton Csokas, Thomas M. Wright, Harry Greenwood, and Tommy Flanagan co-star in Sleeping Dogs. It is co-written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage (Assassin’s Creed) from a script based on E.O. Chirovici’s novel The Book of Mirrors.
Cooper directs while Mark Fasano, Cooper, Collage, and Pouya Shabazian are producers.
Sleeping Dogs hits cinemas March 22nd.
