Sony Interactive Entertainment is reportedly set to to bring 2015 interactive horror game “Until Dawn” to both PS5 (natively) and PC.
Scooper billbil-kun (via VGC broke the story, indicating this updated version of the 2015 early PS4 horror title will be “announced within the next 15 days.”.
They add the title has been in the works for over a year, and it’s not clear if original developer Supermassive Games is involved.
The story is set at an isolated mountain lodge. Eight friends try to stay alive with a mysterious killer on the loose as a mystery surrounding a long-ago mining cave-in features in the story.
Famed horror writer/directors Larry Fessenden and Graham Reznick penned the game which was built on player choice and branching story lines, so no two stories will be the same.
Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, Peter Stormare and Brett Dalton lent their voices and likenesses to the game which was a hit with critics.
The news comes shortly on the heels of an announcement about a film adaptation being in the works at Sony’s Screen Gems and PlayStation Productions.
